The beautiful coloration of this piece comes from the push-through printing technique. The ink is skillfully applied by hand to the inside of the finished sweater, leaving the outside seaming design lines un-dyed and creating the intriguing vintage look on the surface. The artisan handprints the sweaters one by one; in each process, print color penetrates and fades at different areas, making each sweater unique. A pop of color at the seam joins and neckline adds another layer of surprise.
